Joyce Marie Loesch Mackenroth, 75, of Burton, TX, died on September 29, 2020.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Shelby with Pastor David Tinker officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Cemetery.

A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mrs. Mackenroth was born on March 24, 1945 in Brenham, TX to Andrew and Ella Rust Loesch. She was baptized on May 27, 1945 in Zionsville Lutheran Church. She was confirmed on March 22, 1959 in Zionsville Lutheran Church. She married her husband, Travis Mackenroth, on November 28, 1970 in Zionsville Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Mackenroth was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Shelby. She always looked forward to her visit with her special friend from church, Ann Aschenbeck. She thought the world of her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending much time with them over the last couple of years. She is known for her infectious love.

Mrs. Mackenroth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale Mackenroth and wife Diane of Brenham, TX; daughter, Sara Mackenroth Ramirez of Brenham, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Elvis and Shirley Mackenroth of DeSoto, TX; grandchildren, Tyler and Tyson Ramirez; niece, Kimberly Ann and husband Danny Cessop, and their children, Megan and Makenzie; nephew, Daniel Ray Mackenroth and wife Christine, and their children, Elizabeth and Gabriele; nephew, Nathan Paul Mackenroth and wife Amy; and Rosamond and Pereginie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Mackenroth; parents, Andrew and Ella Loesch; son-in-law, Steven Ramirez; infant granddaughter, Lindsay Makay Ramirez; father and mother-in-law, Willie Mackenroth and wife Hilda; and brother-in-law, Alois Mackenroth.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Roger Duch, Scotty Moeller, Danny Cessop, Daniel Mackenroth, Nathan Mackenroth, Todd Hertel, Walter Ramirez, and Rodney Goebel. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be special friend, Ann Aschenbeck, and caregivers LeAnn Statham and Tammy Hudgens.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Shelby or Hospice Brazos Valley.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
