Edwin Fisher

April 8, 1946 — August 27, 2020

Edwin (Ed) Fisher, age 74, passed away in his home on August 27, 2020. He was born on April 8, 1946 to Gordon H. and Lucy Keffer Fisher of York, Pennsylvania.

Due to COVID, the family has decided to have visitation only. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

Ed earned his college degree from Penn State and then moved to Houston, TX to pursue a position as corporate attorney for a international oil company. This position was a incredible adventure where he was able to travel extensively in the Orient.

In 1980, Ed decided to move to Brenham, TX. This is where he found his forever home. As fate would have it, Ed was offered an opportunity to partner a law firm. He in turn would acquire not only partners, but additionally, Ed also gained a wonderful group of friends that became family.

Ed also enjoyed being involved in the community. He was a member of the Washington County Lawyers Association, Exchange Club, Lions Club and he acted as Treasurer of the Volunteer Services Council for the Brenham State School.

Ed enjoyed golf, watching sports, cooking and entertaining. Ed was also a excellent woodworker and often surprised his family and friends with custom creations. Ed loved his Alma Mater, Penn State.

Ed is survived by his wife, Linda Gill Fisher of 21 years.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
