Sharon Pennell, 74, of Brenham, TX, died on September 24, 2021 in Bryan, TX.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 prior to the funeral service at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Pat Dietrich officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Sharon was born on August 11, 1947 in Brenham, TX to Oscar Earl Bode Sr. and Doris Pearl Helmer. She graduated from Brenham High School and was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham, TX.

Sharon enjoyed Cinderella Pageants, craft shows, traveling, and going to Disney World.

Sharon is survived by daughter, Shonda Pennell; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffani and Cole McKinney; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Larry Klotz; grandchildren, Brannon Winn, Peyton Drake, Kyla Drake, Rylie McKinney, Zachary Rushing, Alexander Rushing, Robyn McKinney, Ryne McKinney, Bryce McKinney.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
