Michael Budaus Sr.

Michael Gene Budaus Sr., 69, of Brenham, TX, went to his heavenly home on September 19, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mr. Budaus was born on May 1, 1953 in El Campo, TX to Charles and Ann Dornak Budaus. He was baptized on May 3, 1953 and confirmed on April 24, 1965. He retired from the construction business as a carpenter.

Michael was a family man and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting as well. He was a very good cook and enjoyed BBQing and cooking for friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Michael is survived by his sons, Michael Gene Budaus Jr. of Brenham, TX, and Christopher Ross Budaus of Brenham, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Lynnette Budaus and Doug Jones of Brenham, TX; sister, Carolyn Malandrakis of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Aubrey Cunningham, Kayle Budaus, Laela Budaus, Brandon Sparks, Allison Vaughn, Lillian Orozco, and Thomas Orozco; great-grandchildren, Ayden Cunningham, Addelyn Cunningham, Arian Cunningham, and Levi Sparks.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles and Ann Budaus; and brothers, Charles Budaus Sr. and Steven Budaus.
