Marlene loved to serve the Lord at church doing various things. She spent a lot of time at the Brenham Rest Home taking care of her mother and helping other residents as well. She had a giving heart and would help anyone.

Marlene loved to go to garage sales and antique shops and she would always find something to bring home and display it. She spent a lot of time decorating and making their home look beautiful. One of her favorite things to do was play the piano and she loved to sing and play all kinds of music, especially old hymns. Marlene and her husband Billie made a wonderful life together and loved their family very much.
