Lois Holle

Lois (Pohlmeyer) Holle, age 79, entered her eternal home on February 14, 2023.

A visitation will be held from 7:00am-7:00pm, Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Funeral services are scheduled for February 17, 2023 at 3pm (their 60th wedding anniversary) at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pastor Gilbert Franke officiating

Lois was born July 14, 1943 to Albert and Lydia (Schwartz) Pohlmeyer in the William Penn community of Washington County.  She was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was also married to Waldo Holle on February 17, 1963.  She was employed as a secretary by the Brenham Independent School District for 39 years.

Survivors include her husband Waldo, a son Jason Holle, and a daughter Joy Hutson (Tony).  Grandchildren include Jacey Holle, Jesse Young (Natalie), LaNae Holle (Kadie), Kaitlyn Holle (Ashlynn), Jay Young, Jake Young (Jordan special friend), Amber Castillo, Brooke Madl (Thomas) and Chris Hutson (YaYa).  Great Grandchildren include Rileigh Castillo, David Hutson, Caiden Hudson, Jaxx Young, Briar McCarty, Hayze Madl, Everett Brewer, Yogi Madl and new great grandson Kohen Anthony due in May.  She is also survived by a sister, Shirley Klussmann, Sister-in-laws Elvera Schroeder (Roger), Mary Beth Holle, and Mildred Holle.

Pallbearers: Jesse Young, Jay Young, Jake Young, Chris Hutson, Thomas Madl, Bruce Key and Bill White.

Honorary Pallbearers: great grandsons and great granddaughter.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham, Texas.
