Lillian Mae Lewis, 87, of Brenham, the widow of Charles Lewis, died on July 1, 2016 at Brenham Nursing and Rehab Center.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2016, at 12:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 8010 Katy Freeway, Houston. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2016 at Woodlawn Funeral from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

Lillian was born on December 29, 1928 in Wharton, TX, to Herman Raymond and Annie (Ahlrich) Klimpel. She was married to Charles Lewis for 50 years. Lillian worked at Dentlers - Lays Potato Chips and Hormel as a Book Keeper. Lillian was a member of First Baptist Church for 26 years and The Red Hat Club. Lillian always looked forward to visiting with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with Clark Travel Agency, and she took many trips.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Charles Lewis Jr. and wife Karen; daughter, Lynn Ballard Garris, brother; Ed Klimpel; sister and brother-in-law, Edna Ranley and husband Danny; grandchildren, Scott Ballard, Stephanie Lewis Rudolph, Allison Moherek, Lauren Guerra, Adrienne Moherek and Alexandria Moherek; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Ballard and Logan Ballard; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Sr.; and daughter, Cheri Lewis Moherek.

Serving as pallbearers are Scott Ballard, Lonny Ranley, Tony Moherek, Hank Morris, Ken Campbell and Jeremiah Rudolph.
