Judy Eberhardt

Judy Eberhardt passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was born on August 25, 1959, to Armond Eberhardt and Lucille Koerth Eberhardt in Brenham, TX. Judy was baptized on October 18, 1959, by Pastor Lynn Zimmerman at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Rehburg. She was confirmed in the same church on April 15, 1973, by Pastor John Kueker. Judy was a 1977 graduate of Burton High School; a 1979 graduate of Blinn College; and a 1981 graduate'of Texas A&M University with a degree in Education. Judy, also known as Ms. E, taught in Burton ISD for 34 years before her retirement in 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Burton, TX.

Judy was an active supporter of sporting events, especially at Burton ISD. In her spare time, she loved to read, cook, and can. Her pickles, picante sauce, jellies, pinto beans, and cookies will be missed. In recent years, Aunt Juju loved spoiling her great-nephews and great-niece. Judy was generous with her time and energy, always willing to help family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jennie and Jerry Simpson of Grapevine, TX; her sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Mark
Hundemer of Latium, TX; and brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Linda Eberhardt of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Justin Simpson of Alton, TX; Jardin and Amy Simpson of Keller, TX; Sarah and Robert McKeown of Brenham, TX; and Haley and Bryan Folsom of Brenham, TX. Her beloved great-nephews and great-niece are Hunter, Brady, and Brody Folsom of Brenham, TX; Parker Simpson of Keller, TX; and Karlee McKeown of Brenham, TX. Additional survivors include an aunt, Dorothy Mae Eberhardt, of Burton, TX, and numerous cousins, friends, colleagues, coaches, godchildren, former students and special mentee, Xavier "Bub" Bethany and his son, Jayden.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Simpson, Jardin Simpson, Bryan Folsom, Hunter Folsom, Robert McKeownl lll,  Leslie Boehnemann, Roy Boehnemann, Ronnie Hohlt, and Xavier Bethany.

A visitation will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 25 at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, TX. The family will be present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Rehburg with Pastor Alvin Luedke officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Rehburg or the Memorial Scholarship Fund at Burton ISD.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
