John Littleton

John Allen Littleton, 82, of Brenham, TX, died on February 23, 2021.

A visitation will be held at 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at Prairie Lea Cemetery with Pastor Marty Mosher officiating.

Mr. Littleton was born on August 1, 1938 in Hearne, TX to Audey Columbus and Lena Rainwater Littleton. He married his wife, Linda Smith, on September 4, 1965. He graduated from Texas A.I. in Kingsville, TX. John worked as a claims manager in the insurance industry. John also served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Kim Littleton of Brenham, TX and Steve and Sharon Littleton of Berthoud, CO; grandchildren, Haley, Reed, and Jennalee Littleton, Sarah Littleton, and Hannah Baxter and husband Cooper; great-grandchildren, Casen Baxter; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Dorothy Smith of Brenham, TX, and John and Kris Smith of San Benito, TX.

He is preceded in death by parents and wife, Linda Littleton; brothers, Claude and Truman Littleton.

The family would also like to thank his special caregivers, Stacey Hopes, Mary Spates, Jessica Hawkins, and Nikki Hawkins.
