Evelyn Reimer

July 22, 1930 — March 4, 2020

Evelyn Faye Reimer, 89, died on March 4, 2020 in Brenham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Gay Hill with Pastor Skip Stutts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mrs. Reimer was born in Burton, TX on July 22, 1930 to Otto Fred and Emma Berger Wegner. She worked as a homemaker. She married Otto Emil Reimer on June 10, 1951 at St. John’s Church in Burton.

Evelyn Reimer was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Gay Hill.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Linda Reimer, Dennis and Rayna Reimer, and Glenn and Cindy Reimer; grandchildren, Lisa (Jonathan) Auckland, Dathan (Frances) Reimer, Jason Reimer and his fiancé Alyssa Volk, Jeremy (Taylor) Reimer, Kevin Reimer, Erin (Logan) Holekamp and Trevor (Destiny) Surrett; great-grandchildren, Logan Auckland, Devin Auckland, Jacob Auckland, Livvy Reimer, Lyndsey Reimer, McKenna Reimer, Carter Reimer, Holly Reimer, Elena Surrett and Kailani Surrett.

Mrs. Reimer was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Emma Wegner; husband, Otto Reimer; her brother, Leroy; her sister, LaDell and her grandson, Paul.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Pew Restoration or Hospice Brazos Valley.
