Barbara Biggers

Barbara Biggers, 89, of Brenham, TX, passed away on November 28, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel prior to the memorial service.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Bobbie Maltas officiating.

Barbara was born on June 2, 1932 in Shelbyville, IL to Leslie and Ruby Huffaker Steele.

Barbara taught piano lessons and music lessons for over twenty years in the Baytown area. She loved gardening and was a master gardener. She loved to travel and was an avid runner.

She is survived by her children; Mark and Lisa Biggers, Susan Davenport, Russell and Debra Healy, Steve and Deanna Biggers, and Karen and Ed Bach; grandchildren, Mike and Melissa Biggers, Matthew and Ashley Biggers, Daniel and Dana Biggers, Elizabeth and Patrick Dew, Dustin and Laurie Chase, David Healy, Jennifer Healy, Laura and Tyler Hertel, Linsay and Marc Brace, Tim, Melanie, and Andrew Bach; great-grandchildren, Emily and Jake Biggers, Caylie Chase, Daphne Biggers, Clover Dew, Elowen Dew, Shepard Dew, and Rhody and Reid Hertel; and numerous other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wendell Biggers; one granddaughter, Kirsten Healy; and one great-grandson, Huckleberry Dew.
