Ann Smith

Ann Denton Smith, 74, of Burton, died Nov. 5, 2020 in Brenham.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hackleman officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.

Mrs. Smith was born March 17, 1946, in Franklin, LA, to Marvin and Milda (Martin) Denton. On Nov. 21, 1970, she was married to Robert J. Smith, Sr. in Baldwin, LA.

Survivors include her son, Robert John Smith Jr. of Burton; son, Dwayne Denton Smith and wife Jennifer of Brenham and their son Kade Michael Smith; daughter, Elizabeth Smith of Burton; brother, Tom Denton and wife Barbara of Franklin, LA; and sister, Julia Denton of LaFayette, LA.

Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
