Allyne Amelia (Herrmann) Weiss, 96, of Brenham passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 26, 2023.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 2:00pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Weideville, with Pastor Ken Weiss officiating. Her burial services will follow at the Weideville Church cemetery.

Allyne was born on November 15, 1926, to Henry and Amelia Herrmann in Brenham, Texas. She was baptized on November 20, 1927 and was confirmed in her faith. She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Weiss on October 14, 1945.  Allyne was a loyal and hard-working woman, she was employed by Brookshire Brothers as a cashier and inventory control clerk for many years and later retired. She really enjoyed cooking and baking for all her family. Allyne’s pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandson.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald Weiss (wife Kay); daughter and son-in law, Pamela Bolenbarr (husband Don).  Grandchildren, Cristina Ashorn (special friend Justice McCord), Tiffany Kalkhake (husband Kevin), Shawn Bolenbarr (wife Emily), Brian Weiss (wife Ashley), Misty Weiss (special friend Edward Palomo). Great-grandchildren, Allie Rosenbaum, Alex Rosenbaum, Briar Kalkhake, Blakely Kalkhake, Kase Bolenbarr, Kolt Bolenbarr, Klay Bolenbarr, Oliver Palomo, Jameson Palomo, Greyson Palomo, Cohen Miller, Carley Weiss, and Carah Weiss; great-great grandchild, Elijah Rosenbaum. Sisters-in-law, Nina Herrmann, Laverne Weiss, and Doris Gajeske; and numerous family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Weiss; Her parents, Henry and Amelia Herrmann; Her father and mother-in -law, Herman and Lillie Weiss; brothers, Reinholdt Herrmann, Henry Herrmann, Jr., Alfred Herrmann; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillie and Robert Watkins, Evelyn and Melvin Maurer, Bernice and Alton Sommerfield Sr. and sister, Amelia (Baby) Hoff.  Also, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Woodrow and Lillie Mae Dahman, brother-in-law, Herman (Bubba) Weiss and brother-in-law, Robert Gajeske.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Bolenbarr, Kevin Kalkhake, Alex Rosenbaum, Brian Weiss, and Alton Sommerfield Jr.; Honorary Pallbearers are Kase, Kolt and Klay Bolenbarr, Briar and Blakely Kalkhake, Allie Rosenbaum, Elijah Rosenbaum, Oliver, Jameson and Greyson Palomo, Cohen Miller, Carley and Carah Weiss.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Brenham Nursing and Rehab for all the loving care Allyne received.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Weideville in Brenham, Texas.
