Alfred Lampe Jr.

Alfred Lampe Jr., 79, of Brenham, TX, died on November 6, 2021 in La Grange, TX.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with the family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg with Pastor Evan Cameron officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Alfred was born on May 27, 1942 in Clay, TX to Alfred Lampe Sr. and Glady Schulz. He married his wife Esther Minnie Fieseler on March 18, 1972.

Alfred was a member of the Sons of Hermann. He loved to work on small engines, especially small lawn mower engines. He also was involved in the Cotton Mill and with Continental Carbon.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Esther Minnie Lampe of Brenham, TX; daughter, Patricia Lynn Lampe of Brenham, TX; brother, James Lampe of Brenham, TX, and special friend Kathy; sisters-in-law, Alice Macik and JoAnn Reimer; sister, Shirley Nichols of Navasota, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Alfred and Gladys (Schulz) Lampe; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Linda Lampe; brothers, Donald Lee Lampe and Ray Lampe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and wife Laura Fieseler Jr., Frank Macik, Edward and wife Ruth Wiehe, Joe and wife Mildred Bartos, James Reimer, Sigmund and wife Doris Fieseler, and Leroy and wife Margaret Fieseler.

Pallbearers will be Mark Eckert, Neal Reimer, Curtis Martin, Ray Torres, Roy Hegefeld, Allan Bartos, David Reimer, Jerry Niemeyer, and Steven Wacker. Serving as an Honorary Pallbearer will be Grady Niemeyer.
