Warren Muery

Warren Edward Muery, 80, of Brenham, died May 1, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Muery was born Jan. 27, 1926, in Brenham, Texas, to Edward and Martha Dietzmann Muery. He was a 1952 graduate of Texas A&M University and served in the Navy during World War II. On July 2, 1953, he was married to Neatha Dyer in Midland. Mr. Muery was a geologist for Superior Oil in Midland. Survivors include his wife, Neatha Muery of Brenham; son, Eugene Douglas Muery of Bryan; grandchildren, Suzzette Lyn Wiener of Cypress, Kristofer Ryan Muery and Jonathan Martin Muery, both of Houston; great-granddaughter, Meaghan Carole Wiener; sister, Ruth Hobbs of Brenham; and nieces and nephew, Becki Schawe of Somerville, Dan Hobbs of Brenham and Dianne Smith of Brenham. He was preceded in death by his parents. The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6 at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham with Rev. Troy Sikes officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
