Wanda Lavone Wiede, 79 of Brenham, Texas died on November 6, 2025.

Wanda was born in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1946 to Esther and Christopher Ashley. She was baptized on November 10, 1946. She was one of four children, having a brother and two sisters. After completing high school, she worked as a cosmetologist at Gloyer's Pharmacy. She later went on to work in banking. She was known for her servant's heart-always serving and helping others. She enjoyed working in the yard, mowing grass, going to the lake and especially spending time with her family. Every person who knew her considered her the sweetest person they knew!

She married Timothy Wiede on August 7, 1965 and together they raised their daughter, Deniese, who blessed them with two grandsons. Her love for her family and friends was well known and was a blessing for many.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Deniese Collora; her sister-in-law, Barbara Ashley; her sister, Marion Terry; her sister and brother-in-law, Cora and Bobby Lamar and her two grandchildren, Thomas, Timothy Collora and his wife Keeley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Wiede; her parents, Esther and Christopher Ashley; son-in-law, Thomas Collora and her brother, Larry Ashley.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11th at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12th at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
