Thayler Andrew Meaux

Thayler Andrew "Taz" Meaux, age 33, of Brenham, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1992 in Stockbridge, Georgia to Jamie and Wendy Meaux, and grew up to be exactly the kind of man his family always hoped he would be - loving, respectful, and a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

Taz graduated from Brenham High School in 2010 and went on to earn a degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Texas State University. He built a career as an independent environmental auditor, work that reflected his thoughtful and detail-oriented nature.

Those who knew Taz knew his smile first. It was warm, wide, and contagious. As a kid he was a prankster who kept everyone laughing, and that playful spirit never left him. He had a gift for making people feel seen - he gave thoughtful, personalized gifts that showed just how closely he paid attention to the people he loved. To his mother, he had one simple way of summing up what she meant to him. He would look at her and say, "You're my heart."

Taz had a deep and genuine love for sports. He was a Little League all star and a high school golfer, and his loyalty to his teams never wavered. He loved the Astros, the Texans, and the Stars, and had a well-loved collection of jerseys he wore proudly to the games.

He is survived by his father and mother, Jamie and Wendy Meaux; his brother, Jarren Meaux; his sisters, Amie Morin and Makayla Hurlburt; and his brothers-in-law, Chris Morin and Ben Hurlburt, Niece Palmer Hurlburt and Grandmother Brenda Meaux, as well as, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by Pat and Kenneth Mosley and Raymond Meaux.

A Church Service will be held at Champion Fellowship Church on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The Service will be performed by Ben Hurlburt.
