Teresa Hernandez

Teresa Velasquez Hernandez, age 51, died on July 12, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with a rosary following at 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Ernesto Elizondo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Teresa was born on May 27,1970 in Mexico to Ramon Hernandez and Aurora Velasquez.  She married Antonio Delgado February 7, 2004.  She loved to sew and tend to her loving husband.

She is survived by her husband Antonio Delgado of Brenham, Texas; her father Ramon Hernandez of Mexico City; her brothers Antonio, Ramon, and Jesus Hernandez; her sisters Maru, Patricia, Betty and Mariana Hernandez; grandson Carlos Javier Delgado and friend Rosie Lopez.

She was preceded in death by her mother Aurora Velasquez and brother Arturo Hernandez.

Serving as pallbearers will be Salustrio Lopez, Enrique De Jesus, Felipe Pizarro, Jaime Alvarez. Honorary pallbearers are Jesus Delgado, Simon Delgado, Cesar Romero, and Jose Vega.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.
