Sylvia Ann Kohus was born May 6, 1932 in Andalusia, Alabama. After a brief bout with cancer, she died September 19, 2013 in Brenham, TX. Attending her at her death were her daughter, Barbara Kay Schmidt, and her friend, Ann Standhardt.
