Stephanie Middleton

Stephanie Patricia Middleton, 74, died April 3, 2019 in Houston.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Deacon Steve Medina, Officiant. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Chappell Hill.

Visitation will be held Monday prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Stephanie Middleton was born in Chappell Hill on March 23, 1945 to Henry and Sophie Lewandowski Springer. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill, where she was also married to Ken Middleton on October 7, 1967.

Stephanie was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Houston. She was employed as a supervisor in the Harris Co. Tax Office. A longtime volunteer at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, she served as a lifetime committee person. Cooking and crocheting were favorite hobbies. Stephanie was also an avid Astros fan.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Middleton; sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Roy Matthew, all of Houston. Also surviving are 18 nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great niece. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Gertrude Bilski, Mary Cone, Theresa Kimich, Clara Cone, Monica Lucherk, and Martina Springer.

Serving as pallbearers are David Cone, Doug Cone, Mike Kimich, James Cone, Mark Cone, and Kenny Lucherk.

Memorials may be directed to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
