Ruby Browning

Ruby Faye Browning, 80, of Brenham, died July 8, 2014, in College Station, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 11 at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12 at Atkinson Cemetery in Chappell Hill. Miss Browning was born June 15, 1934 in Tyler, TX, to Lee and Pauline Moore Browning. She was a member of the Country Bible Church and loved fishing and traveling. Miss Browning was employed part-time at AMA Home Health Care. She and her friend, Dolores Cooper, had operated Triple J Restaurant at Chappell Hill and operated a lawn service. Miss Browning had also worked at Brenham State School and Westwood. Survivors include her special friend, Dolores Cooper of Brenham; sister, Noma Browning of Brenham; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
