Robert Coghlan, Jr.

Robert C. Coghlan, Jr., 81, of Brenham, died Aug. 1, 2017, in Bryan, TX.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mr. Coghlan was born Nov. 25, 1935, in Lodi, WI, to Robert C. Sr. and Evelyn (Falk) Coghlan. He was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Coghlan, III of Houston, Brett and Dee Coghlan and Brandon and Linda Coghlan, all of Brenham; brother, Richard W. Coghlan of Brenham; sister, Pat King of Aransas Pass; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul and Pat Looney of Mineral and Nancy and Clay Teeters of Brenham; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Violet Dawn (Looney) Coghlan; one brother; and brother-in-law, James King.
