Ricky Schmidt

Ricky Neal Schmidt, 58, of Brenham, died May 23, 2014 at Brenham Rest Home. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Fayetteville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Ricky Schmidt was born Dec. 22, 1955 in Halletsville to Edwin and Hilda Klitsch Schmidt. His parents and a brother, Wayne Schmidt, preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Joyce Schmidt of Victoria, and sister and brother-in-law Vickie and Frankie Kolbasinski of Brenham. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Ricky was a long-time resident at the Brenham State Supported Living Center.
