Pearlie Rosner, 81, of Brenham, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026.
Pearlie was born on December 21, 1944 in Burton, Texas to Rufus and Annie (Koehne) Lange. On June 8, 1963, she married the love of her life, Joseph Rosner, and together they built a life centered on family, love, and simple joys.
Pearlie had a deep love for the outdoors, persistently tending to her plants, flowers, and garden. She found great joy in quiet strolls through her garden, admiring the beauty she so carefully cultivated. She had a special fondness for birds-especially hummingbirds-and could often be found watching them gather at her feeders and bird baths. For many years, she also cared for geese, adding even more life and character to her home.
Above all, Pearlie was known for her caring and generous spirit. She expressed her love through cooking, always making sure her family was well-fed and cared for. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she lovingly prepared meals-particularly her well-loved chicken spaghetti and angel food cake-and made sure no one ever left hungry. Holidays were especially important to her; she cherished having everyone together and made each gathering special with her homemade cheesecake, cookies, and warm hospitality. She was known for sending her granddaughter Christy home with plenty of leftovers during her college years, a simple but meaningful reflection of her constant care.
Pearlie also enjoyed life's little comforts, like her favorite Blue Bell NSA ice cream and the cozy glow of Yankee candles. She loved music and was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley and George Strait.
She will be remembered as a woman who always put her family first-someone who showed up in both joyful celebrations and difficult times, offering steady love, support, and kindness. Pearlie was truly a wonderful lady whose legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
Pearlie is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rosner; her parents; her brother, Rufus Lange, Jr.; and multiple in-laws.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Joyce Rosner of Brenham; her daughter, Lisa Heugatter of Manor; her granddaughter, Christine and her spouse Abbie; her great-grandson, Milo; her sister-in-law, Gladys Lange of Brenham; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham.
