Patricia Stoltenberg

Beloved wife of 62 years, mother, grandmother and friend, Patricia Ann (Bunting) Stoltenberg, met Jesus face to face on Nov. 24, 2019. Her deep faith in the Lord and devoted family enabled her to embrace eternity with a peace that will leave a lasting legacy on generations to come.
Pat was born in Billings, Montana, Aug. 8, 1938, to George and Hester Bunting. She was blessed to be raised by loving parents and grandparents who laid the foundation of faith and sparked the compassion Pat had for others.
Pat graduated from Billings High School in June of 1956 and married her best friend, Ronald Stoltenberg, on March 15, 1957. She went to work, supporting her family both inside and outside the home. While raising four children, she worked as a draftsman in the oil and gas industry in Billings, Montana, and as a math teacher at Huntsville High School and Sam Houston State University for 28 years. She continued her education as an adult, obtaining her bachelors and masters degrees from Sam Houston State University.
Ron and Pat moved to Brenham, Texas, in 2000 and have been members of Champion Fellowship Church, where they developed cherished friends and community over the years.
Pat was most known for her genuine empathy and kindness to others. She had the ability to offer compassion that allowed others to feel valued and loved. She had a fierce passion for those she loved and what she believed.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ronald Stoltenberg, and children, Dr. Jeff and Lynne Stoltenberg, Jim and Renee Stoltenberg, David and Francine Stoltenberg, and Ann and Jim Whiting. She was proud to be blessed with 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Hester Bunting, sister Evelyn Caudill, father- and mother-in-law, Walt and Lucy Stoltenberg, and daughter-in-law Paula K. Stoltenberg.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29 at Champion Fellowship Church on 1801 South Market St., Brenham, Texas 77833.
