Norma Alexander

Norma Lee Sissy Alexander, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend returned to her heavenly origin on August 18, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 22, 1944 in Houston Texas to Norman and Elsie Boswell. Norma is survived by her daughter Molly; son Michael and wife Rachael of Plano; son Daniel and wife Melanie of Georgetown; adored grandchildren Julia, Lauren, Jack, Michelle, and Sarah, and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Wendy Lee; husband Andrew; and her sister Barbara. Sissy will be remembered for her generous spirit, tenderness, and loving heart. She never met a stranger and all were enchanted by her bright eyes and quick laughter. We will forever be grateful for the gift of her in our lives. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday August 22 at Memorial Oaks Chapel 1306 W. Main in Brenham Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday August 21. Remembrances in her honor can be made by donating to any charity benefiting children or animals.
