Minerva Salgado-Uriostegui

Minerva "Isabel" Salgado-Uriostegui of Brenham, Texas passed away on January 19, 2026 in Temple, Texas.

Isabel was born on October 29, 1978 in Arcelia, Guerrero, Mexico, to Eliseo Salgado Arroyo and Marcelina Salgado Uriostegui. She was united in marriage with Victor Carillo on July 11, 2023 and they were blessed with two daughters, Kayla and Kalia.

Isabel was employed as a production worker at Blue Bell Creameries where she was loved and respected by all who knew and worked with her.

Survivors include her parents, Marcelina Salgado Uriostegui and Eliseo Salgado Arroyo; her husband, Victor Carillo and her daughters, Kayla and Kalia Carillo. Isabel is also survived by brothers, Francisco Salgado, Rafael Salgado, Eliseo Salgado, Jose Luis Salgado and Lionel Salgado and sisters, Carmen Rodriguez, Norma Weinschenk and Maria Salgado.

A visitation for Isabel is scheduled at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 5:00 - 9:00 PM, Friday, January 30, 2026 with a rosary being held at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 701 Church Street, Brenham, Texas with Fr. Raphael Ezeh officiating, with the burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers for Isabel will be Alex Aguilar, Jr., Jonathan Salgado, Wilmer Aguilar, Junior Salgado, Fred Salgado, Erik Salgado, Luke Salgado and Michael Salgado. Honorary pallbearers with be Elix, Aguilar, Sr, Martin Otereo and Rodolfo Rodriguez.
