Michael Caleb Hochmeister

Michael Caleb Hochmeister passed away on April 19, 2025 in Brenham at the age of 28. A visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with a memorial service following at 3:00 PM.

He was born on May 1, 1996 in Naperville, IL to Michael Lee Hochmeister and Candace Scarbrough Hochmeister. He was a graduate of Woodlands High School and was employed at Plants and Things in Brenham. He enjoyed skateboarding and gardening and had a special love for animals. You could always count on him for a helping hand. He loved his family but loved God first and foremost.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Candace and Keith Henderson; brother, Jacob Hochmeister; Paternal grandparents, Gordon Hochmeister and Jean Hochmeister of Indiana; aunts, Andrea Wertz and Anita Sewall; uncle, Ted Sewall; cousins, Sarah Alvarez (Jonah), Hannah Alvarez (Justin), Olivia Rhaley, Calie Ritter, Cheaney Ritter and several extended cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lee Hochmeister; sister, Erica Leigh Hochmeister; uncle, Keith Scarbrough; maternal grandmother, Ruthie Null and maternal grandfather, Danny Scarbrough.
