Marvin Dennis Farr, Jr.

Marvin Dennis Farr, Jr. passed away on May 31, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born August 29, 1943 in Austin, Texas to Annie Clara Jaehne and Marvin Farr, Sr.

After completing High School and some college, he pursued a career in field of architecture. He served time in the U.S. Army Reservist/ National Guard during the Vietnam war.

He was brought up in the Lutheran faith and confirmed in 1956. Marvin was baptized March 17, 2013, a very special day in his life.

Marvin is survived by his partner, Elizabeth Robinson; a daughter and son-in-law; 2 grandsons, and 7 stepchildren. He is also leaves 13 step grandchildren, 14 great step grandchildren and 4 great – great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Shane Farr; wife, Mildred (Millie) Farr; sister, Jo Ann Peterson Holiday and brother-in-law.

The graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
