Maria Espinoza

Maria Guadalupe Espinoza, 71, of Brenham, Texas went home with our heavenly father on December 17, 2025 at Baylor Scott and White in College Station early in the morning. Maria was born on April 23, 1954 in Michoacan, Mexico. She was a faithful lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She retired from Brenham SSLC. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and sewing.

Maria is preceded in death by her son Henry Jessie Moreno and her parents Jose Francisco and Maria Rosa Espinoza. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Rosario Correa.

She is also survived by her children and their spouses; Rosa M. Garcia (Howard Rucks), Brenda L Aviles (Ignacio Aviles), Maria A. Martinez (Ricardo Martinez), Jose I. Espinoza (Amy Espinoza), Marco A. Moreno and Francisco J. Espinoza.

Siblings; Josefina Espinoza (Lorenza Mosqueda), Misael Espinoza (Maria Dolores Espinoza) and Isaias Espinoza (Cirila Espinoza).

Grandchildren; Eric Alcala, Liset Alcala (Devyn Vasquez), Mariela Salcido (Ruben Salcido), Jordan Rucks-Garcia, Alexis G. Moreno (John Aguilar), Bianca A. Jaime (Eddie Reyes), Victoria R. Martinez (Nico Sierra), Ivan I. Aviles, Henry J Aviles, Klarissa K. Aviles, Destiny M. Throckmorton, Alicia M. Galvan (Oscar Galvan), Natalie J. Martinez (Hector Gallardo), Ricardo Martinez Jr., Marion T. Espinoza (Rachel Saunders), Caleb Espinoza, Valerie M. Jaramillo, Kimberly and Gisell Roman.

A visitation for Maria will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm with a rosary recited at 6:30 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel located at 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, Texas. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 701 Church Street, Brenham, Texas with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will include: Ricardo Martinez Jr., Ivan I. Aviles, Henry J. Aviles, Jose I. Espinoza, Juan P. Espinoza and John P. Espinoza.
