Linda Lopez Sutherland

Linda Lopez Sutherland, 54, passed into the arms of Jesus on February 20, 2026. Linda was born on May 14, 1971, in Wharton, Texas to Fred Guzman and Suzie Lopez.

Linda was one of eight children so to say she "never met a stranger" would be an understatement as there would not be a chance to be shy in a family of that size! Linda was outgoing, loving, and helpful, she liked reading books, shopping and spending time with family and friends but she loved her husband and two sons most of all.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Sutherland, Sr., her sons; Tyler Sutherland and Michael Sutherland Jr., her siblings; George Lopez, Joe Lopez, Rick Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Luciano Lopez, Fanny Hall and her husband Panky, and Terry Morris, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a small prayer service beginning at 6:30 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel located at 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, Texas.
