Leroy Henry Loesch, 92, of Brenham, TX passed away at home on July 22, 2022. Leroy was born on September 10, 1929 in Brenham to Theodor W. and Seda Emshoff Loesch. He was baptized and confirmed at St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem. On July 15, 1950 Leroy married Ruth Elaine Moench at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. Leroy and Ruth were married almost 72 years before her passing on July 13, 2022.
Leroy was currently a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brenham. His faith was a very important part of his life.
Leroy was an Army veteran having served in Korea. He was a tireless supporter of veteran organizations.
Leroy delighted in his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth; and his brother, Melvin Loesch.
Leroy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Myrna Loesch of Round Rock, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Wayne Winkelmann of Brenham, TX. Grandchildren, Lauren and Michael Glasscock, Amy and Jason Supak, Megan and Nate Whalen and Eric Winkelmann; great-grandchildren, Marley Glasscock, Tyson and Lily Supak, Kynleigh Kidd and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
The family would like to thank his caregivers - Linda, Erma, Gertrude, Helen, Bridgette, Tonya, and Cookie and Hospice Brazos Valley- Truby, Courtney, Jeni, Haley, and Brenda for their kindness, respect and compassion shown over the past year.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with family present from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brenham on July 26, 2022, at 10:30 A.M.
