Leonard Lawson II

Leonard Lee Lawson, II was transferred to his heavenly home into the unfailing open arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 64 years of age. He was born November 5, 1958 in Houston, Texas to father Leonard Lee Lawson and mother, Frances Reeves Lawson.

While working for Tenneco Oil Company, Exploration and Production and doing prison ministry at the Carol S. Vance unit in Houston. He was diagnosed in 1988 with Multiple Sclerosis. For the past 35 years, Lee has struggled with many complications from the M.S. but he is now free of all that pain and suffering.

Lee is survived by his wife, Kelly Mason Lawson, his son, Staff Sgt. Andrew Lawson, his aunt Mary Morgan and her husband, Charlie, and his cousins, Mike Reese, Gary Reese, Jim Chapman and Kathy Broom. He is preceded in death by his father and mother.

Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held for Lee.
