Lee Augustson

Lee Davis Augustson, 71, died March 26, 2019 in Brenham.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Rev. Allen McClure officiating. Visitation will be at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, preceding the service.

Lee Davis Augustson was born April 21, 1947 in Joliet, Illinois to Walter and Madge Ginatt Augustson.

Lee was an outgoing person, and was often the life of the party. An avid outdoorsman and nature lover, he was also a successful entrepreneur in the industrial supply industry. A true patriot, Lee served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was also very proud to be associated with the Washington Co. Sheriff’s Department.

Lee is survived by his wife, Patricia Burke Augustson of Brenham; son, Loran Lee Morgan II grandchildren: Trey Lee Morgan III, and Lane Joseph Morgan; brother and sister-in-law Dale and Darice Augustson, and Richard and Sandy Macholz; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jean and Andy Hruby, and Linda and Johnny Bradford. Other surviving relatives are nieces and nephews Beth and Blake Richards, Robin and Jason Cothran, Amanda and Marcus Langston, Kelly and Danny Word, Kim and Eddie Battenfield, Keith Hruby, and Bryan Bradford.

Memorials may be directed to the City of Brenham Pet Adoption Center, 1804 Longwood Drive, Brenham, Texas 77833.

Funeral arrangements for Lee Davis Augustson are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
