Leatrice Kapchinski

Leatrice (Steinfeld) Kapchinski, died on January 22, 2022 in Brenham, TX.

Leatrice was born on June 11, 1936 to Charlie and Lillie (Gaskamp) Steinfeld.

She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She loved wrestling, football, and babysitting her grandkids.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Kapchinski and wife Brenda, Randy Kapchinski and wife Judy, Jody Kapchinski and wife Loretta; daughters and sons-in-law, Mikie Stokley and husband Bobby, Melissa Bennett and husband David; daughter, Margaret Pelletier; and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.

Leatrice was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Wayne Kapchinski; daughter, Virginia “Tina” Kapchinski; three brothers and three sisters; and her best friend, Bonnie Carlile.

Pallbearers will be Philip Kapchinski, Joe Jamie Kapchinski, Christian Bennett, Fletcher William, Zaine William, and Joe Kapchinski.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Stokey, Bobby Stokey Jr., Brandon Kapchinski, Chandler Daniel, and JaCobie Williams.

Donations may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Raymond Elledge officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
