James Sackett, Sr.

James Edward Sackett Sr., 78, of Brenham, died March 21, 2017, in College Station, TX.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with visitation prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Sackett was born February 19, 1939, in Okemak, OK, to Leonard and Dorothy (Montgomery) Sackett. He was employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Sackett of Visalia, CA; son and daughter-in-law, James and Cheryl Sackett of Big Piney, WY; daughters, Mary Migett of Benton, AR, Tina Shaw of Visalia, CA and Terry Pesqueira of Visalia, CA; brother, Leonard Sackett Jr. of Visalia, CA; sisters, Carol Rippie of Chico, CA and Nan Chadwick of Cerritos, CA; as well as his significant other, Jesusa Martinez, and numerous grandchildren.
