Howard Grebe

Howard Grebe, 84, died on January 21, 2020 in Brenham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill with Pastor Shea Berbaum officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mr. Grebe was born in Brenham on September 25, 1935 to Ben and Lillie (Hahn) Grebe. He was baptized on November 17, 1935 and confirmed in 1950 both at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.

Howard married Harriet Kenjura Kubeczka March 1, 1997 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill. He was a farmer, rancher, and carpenter. He was also a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.

Survivors include his stepsons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Janice Kubeczka and Mike Kubeczka, Jr. and Karen; step grandchildren, Nicole and Chris Porche and Crystal and Joe Hinds and step great-grandchildren, Kinsley Porche and Katelyn Porche.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Porche, Joe Hinds, Ronnie Walla, Larry Grebe, Mark Mantey, and Marvin Spreen. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Marburger, John Haarmeyer, Ricky Bosse, Danny Rohde, Paul Richter, and Barney Loesch.

Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.

Funeral arrangements for Howard Grebe are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
