Herman Wagner

Herman D. Wagner, 80, of Marietta, Georgia, the widower of Ladell Wagner, died Sept. 18, 2003, in Georgia. Mr. Wagner was born July 31, 1923, in Brenham, Texas, to August and Mary Bentke Wagner. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Deanna Wagner of Marietta, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Bruce Dugey of Houston; grandchildren, Dean Wagner, Ruth Wagner, Summer Rose, Arden Stone, Kimberly Chesser and Brad Dugey; great-grandchildren, Sidney Rose, Tyler Chesser, Garrett Stone, Christopher Stone and Amber Stone; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Reimer. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, in St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Sandy Hill. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors at Memorial Oaks Chapel Monday, Sept. 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Sandy Hill. Local funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
