Helen Wolf

Helen Elizabeth Gebhart Wolf passed away Sunday June 21, 2020 in Brenham, TX.

She was born in Bellwood, PA December 1, 1936 to Martha (Barley) and Lester Gebhart. She attended and graduated from Bellwood Antis High School, PA in 1954. Graduated with a diploma degree from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA 1957.

She was married to Robert Wayne Wolf, December 6, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA . She Lived in East Liverpool, OH until 1997 where she was employed by East Liverpool Hospital and the former Potter’s Medical Center, retiring in 1995. In 1986 she represented Columbiana County Ohio as Nurse of Hope for the American Cancer Society.

Helen was a member of the first Evangelical Presbyterian Church and Northside Community Church in East Liverpool. After moving to Brenham, TX in 1997 she was a current member of Champion Fellowship Church.

Helen is survived by 3 children, Carol Wolf (Waco Rainey) of San Antonio, TX, Judith Wolf of Austin, TX, and Robb Wolf (Jackie) or Hartville, OH.

Also, by her Grandchildren BJ King (Whitney Kyle), Justin King, Beau Clayman, Dylan Wolf, Hayden Wolf (Megan), Mason Wolf, Dallas Rainey (Bridget), Autumn Stewart (David), and Celeste Scott (Kris). Nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Robert Wolf in January 2017, her parents, brother, Lester Dean Gebhart, sister Pauline Gebhart Jordan, daughter Cynthia Wolf Davis, and grandson Joshua King.

No memorial service has been planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Heart Association PO Box 841125 Dallas, TX 75284-1125.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
