Gregory Scott (Greg) Ginn of Burton, Texas passed away on August 1, 2026 in College Station, Texas, at the age of 65. Greg was born on July 2, 1961, in Brenham to Gerry and Natalie Oevermann Ginn.

Greg grew up in Brenham, but made Burton his home. He worked as a machinist at MIC for many years. He enjoyed the beach and spending time with his family, especially working on the family land with his sons. He took great pride in his work and making sure his yard was pristine. Other hobbies and passions included music, gardening, woodworking, raising Ringneck doves and quail, and rock tumbling.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Gerry Ginn; grandparents, August and Elsie Oevermann and Paul and Laura Ginn.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Garrett and Jessica Ginn and Taylor Ginn; grandchildren, Kaydence and Gunner; his mother, Natalie Oevermann Ginn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori and Roy Allen Rueter, Gina and Clay Mulanax, and Amy and Billy Joe Jasinski and many nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins.

A visitation has been scheduled from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, Texas. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Joey Taylor and Johnny Gutierrez officiating.
