Glen Edwin Kelm, devoted husband, loving father, proud G.G., and friend to many, passed away on December 17, 2025, in College Station, Texas, surrounded by "his girls," at the age of 70. Glen was born on February 11, 1955, in Brenham, Texas, to Edwin Kelm and Edna Landua Kelm.
Glen was baptized on March 27, 1955, at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg and later confirmed there on March 30, 1969. He was a Brenham High School graduate, class of 1974.
On May 21, 1983, Glen married the love of his life, Penny Renn, at Friedens Church in Washington, Texas. Together they built a life rooted in family and hard work, and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kayla and Alicia.
Glen was truly a people person. A social guy with a quick wit, he loved to joke around and could strike up a conversation with anyone. In his younger years, he played slow-pitch softball and enjoyed riding motorcycles before settling into family life. Glen appreciated the simple joys, especially riding around, watching the deer on his property, and spending time outdoors.
Glen retired from Oak Farms Dairy after more than 30 years of dedicated service as a route salesman, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. He was a loyal fan and supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros, and he treasured the time spent with his grandchildren, whom he adored.
Glen will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind, including his loving wife of 42 years, Penny Kelm; daughter Kayla Arthur and husband Michael; daughter Alicia Moudry and husband Kyle; sister Paulette Malkey and husband Berry Lee; brother Leslie Kelm and wife Barbara; sister-in-law Lola Kelm; sister-in-law Tammy Leiber; and mother-in-law Patricia Renn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a proud and devoted G.G. to his grandsons, Joshua Tomek Jr., Michael Arthur, and his granddaughter, Ada Moudry.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Edna Kelm; his brother, Gene Kelm; his father-in-law, Joe Renn; and his brother-in-law, Charles Leiber.
Honoring his life, his three grandchildren serve as honorary pallbearers: Joshua, Michael, and Ada.
