Georgia Standerfer

Georgia Lee Standerfer, 101, of Brenham, died August 9, 2018, in Brenham.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Center Plain Cemetery in Cotton Center, TX.

Mrs. Standerfer was born January 29, 1917 in Norman, OK, to Jordan and Gorda (Petty) Price. She was a farm wife, whose family was important to her. She was a resident of Brenham since 2005.

Survivors include her son, E.G. “Butch” Standerfer and wife Margie of Kingwood; daughters, Carol Ann Post and husband Tom of Brenham, Lela Wilson and husband Curtis of San Jose and Kay Hammonds of Houston; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Standerfer; and her parents.
