Fritz Robert Hermann, 96, of Brenham, died Aug. 29, 2003, in Brenham. Mr. Hermann was born June 7, 1907, in Brenham, TX, to Louis Ferdinand and Amalie Hoffmann Hermann. He was baptized April 17, 1910. On Nov. 22, 1934, he married Antonie Alma Hauck in St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham. Mr. Hermann was a farmer and electrician. He was a member of St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham and the Sons of Hermann Lodge in Brenham. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Janice Hermann and David and Wanda Hermann, all of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Raymond Dietrich, Marian and Elroy Ullrich and Jeanette and Daniel Runge, all of Houston; 11 grandchildren, Becky and Warren Sallach of Sealy, Melissa and Roy Beckermann of Brenham, Jonathan Hermann of College Station, Justin Hermann of Brenham, Laurey and Sherwin Nickerson of Katy, Larry and Rev. Patricia Dietrich of Hewitt, TX, Keith Ullrich of Houston, Kelly and Israel Garza of Houston, Kevin and Shelly Ullrich of Houston, Dana and John Weatherly of Houston and Daryl and Sara Runge of Cypress; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Clara Hermann of Brenham and Roxie Schulze of Brenham; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Louis and Amalie Hermann; his wife, Antonie Hermann, on Aug. 13, 2000; 13 brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31 in St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastor Lawrence Bade and Pastor Kim Little-Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Keith Ullrich, Larry Dietrich, Kevin Ullrich, Daryl Runge, Jonathan Hermann, Justin Hermann, Roy Beckermann and Warren Sallach. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin and Brittani Smith. Memorials may be given to St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church Radio and TV Ministries. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
