Frank Martinez, Jr., 52 died January 2, 2019 in Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

A Rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Frank Martinez Jr. was born October 9, 1966 in Abilene to Frank Sr. and Frances Acosta Torres. He was baptized in 1976 in St. Francis Catholic Church. Frank Jr. was self-employed as a remodeler in the construction business. On March 13, 1997, he was married to Irma Flores.

Frank Jr. was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors include his wife, Irma Martinez; mother, Frances Torres (Ramiro) and Frank Martinez (Hilda); sons Frankie Martinez (Kristin Nicole); Edwind Ivan Martinez, and Tony Martinez; daughters Jessica Martinez and Franchesca Martinez Cerna; brothers Freddie Martinez, Pete Martinez, and Gilbert Martinez (Rebecca); sister, Jasmine Martinez; 16 grandchildren and one special granddaughter, Princess Madelynn. He considered Robert Howell and Ernest Hall as his brothers. He was preceded in death by Nick and Anita Acosta and Hilario and Tomasa Jaramillo.

Serving as pallbearers are Little Freddie Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, Felix Martinez, Daniel Jaramillo, Tony Martinez, Roland Martinez, Joe Frank Martinez, and Freddie Martinez.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church. The family wishes to thank Irene Murillo and Linda Garza.
