Emma Zavitz

Emma Carnegie Zavitz, 89, died October 26, 2018 in Brenham.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Prairie Lea Cemetery, with Pastor Jill Vivroux officiating.

Emma Zavitz was born August 20, 1929 in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada to James Corbett and Dorothy Marie Garnsey Carnegie. She was employed as a secretary for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Co.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Weghorst of Brenham. Her husband, Robert Zavitz, preceded her in death on February 17, 2017.
