Emery Hair, Jr.

Emery Naaman Hair, Jr., 78, of Brenham, died July 10, 2003, in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham. Mr. Hair was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Baytown, TX, to Emery Sr. and Annie Mae Robinson Hair. On Nov. 5, 1943, he married Mildred Noack in Granger, TX. Mr. Hair was a petroleum inspector. He lived in Texas City for 50 years and resided in Brenham since 1992. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Hair of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Bill Wilson and Cynthia and David Kinler, all of Spring; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12 in Christ Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastor Arnon Lundborg officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Bartlett City Cemetery in Bartlett, TX. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 11 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
