Elberta Fuchs

Elberta Matilda Hahn Fuchs, 78, of Brenham, died Sunday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. She was born February 26, 1928 in Prairie Hill, Texas, to Rudolph and Esther Boortz Hahn. She was baptized May 20, 1928 in Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill, Texas by Pastor P. Gogolin. She was confirmed on April 18, 1943 in Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill, Texas by Pastor P. Gogolin. On June 15, 1958, she was married to Elvis Earl Fuchs. Mrs. Fuchs was a retired waitress working at many Brenham cafes. She is survived by her sister-in-laws; Vernell Fuchs of Brenham and Doris Heinecke of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband; Elvis Earl Fuchs, parents, sister Mabel Kirrane and niece Patsy Kirrane. Graveside service for Elberta Fuchs will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Prairie Lea Cemetery with Pastor Lawrence Bade officiating. Memorials maybe given to St. Paul s Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main St., Brenham.
