Edward Skweres

Edward T. Skweres, 88, of Brenham, died on March 5, 2020 in La Grange, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 12:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 10 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Ernesto Elizondo officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mr. Skweres was born in Brenham, TX on July 10, 1931 to Steve and Mary Januszewski Skweres. He worked as an attendant at a service station.

Mr. Skweres was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include his sister, Valeria Schoppe, sister-in-law, Ola Mae Skweres; niece, Annie Skweres, and other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Skweres was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mary Skweres; brothers, Freddie Skweres, Johnnie Skweres, Bennie Skweres, and sister, Dorothy Brending.

Funeral arrangements for Edward T. Skweres are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham, TX.
