Edward Murski

December 19, 1925 — September 5, 2003

Edward J. Murski, 77, of Houston, Texas, died Sept. 5, 2003, in a Houston hospital. Mr. Murski was born Dec. 19, 1925, in Brenham, Texas, to Frank and Mary Kasprowicz Murski. He attended Brenham High School and was to be inducted into the BHS Cub Football Hall of Honor. Mr. Murski served in the Army during World War II and attended Blinn College. Mr. Murski was known for his devotion to his God and his country. He is remembered for his cheerfulness and deep convictions and responsibilities to his loved ones. His relatives will be sustained by memories of everything thoughtful and kind in his service to them. Since retiring from Baker Hughes Co., he was in the cattle and ranching business. Survivors include his sister-in-law, June L. Murski of Houston; niece, Mary Anne Robeson and husband Jim of Houston; nephews, David Albin Murski of Charlotte, North Carolina, Robert Franklin Bobby Murski and wife Tara of Richmond, Paul K. Murski of Houston, Patrick E. Murski and wife Tracy of Houston and James D. Murski of Houston; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson Robeson, James Dillon Murski, Chance Murski, Brooke Murski and Blake Murski; and many cousins and friends in the Brenham and Houston areas. Special thanksgiving for their kindness and concern goes to Dr. Kenneth L. Toppell and nurses and staff at Plaza Specialty in Park Plaza Hospital. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham with Father David Ivey, celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Brenham. Pallbearers will be David A. Murski, Robert Franklin Murski, Paul K. Murski, Patrick E. Murski, James D. Murski and Richard Kasprowicz. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
