Earl Rosenbaum

Earl Bruce Rosenbaum, 87, of Brenham, TX, died on March 10, 2021 in Brenham, TX.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with the family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Buck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, masks and social distancing will be required at the church.

Mr. Rosenbaum was born on August 28, 1933 in the Rehburg Community in Texas to August and Rosalee Wilkening Rosenbaum. He was baptized on October 10, 1933 and confirmed on April 10, 1949. He married his wife, Jannet Thiel, on June 9, 1963 at Salem Lutheran Church with whom Pastor Oelke officiated.

Mr. Rosenbaum loved to play pitch, gardening, riding in the mule to check the cattle, fishing, polishing his tractors with diesel, mowing, planting, and watching it grow.

Mr. Rosenbaum is survived by his wife, Jannet Thiel Rosenbaum of Brenham, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Rosenbaum and wife Tammy of Brenham, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Judy Krause and husband Doyle of Bleiblerville, TX; grandchildren, Kara Wienken, Carson Krause and special friend Tyler Bond, Garett Krause and special friend Braylee Schomburg; great-grandson, Luke Wienken; and special caregiver, Beverly McFarland.

He is preceded in death by Mary Randermann Franklin and her husbands, Charlie, and Joe; Ruby Boyd and husband Horace; Juanita Seilheimer and husband Allen; Geneva Hermann and husband Alvin; Lonnie Rosenbaum and wife Alvina; Irvin Rosenbaum and wife Virgene, Willie Rosenbaum, and Sherwood Rosenbaum.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Randermann, Tommy Roehling, Michael Wienken, Richard Boyd, Gary Rosenbaum, Raymond Rosenbaum, Darryl Hermann, and Andrew Eckert.

Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church.
